What does "personal use only" mean?
Free-tier patterns are for personal enjoyment, gifts, and charitable donations. You cannot sell finished items made from free patterns. Upgrade to Premium for commercial use rights.
Can I sell items I make from Premium patterns?
Yes! Premium includes commercial use rights. You can sell finished items on Etsy, at craft fairs, or anywhere else. You may not redistribute the pattern files themselves.
Why are free patterns public?
Free patterns appear in our community gallery to inspire other crafters. Premium users can keep their patterns private.
What export formats are available?
Free users get a PDF with a watermark overlay. Premium users get clean PDFs and plain text (.txt) files. Both include the full pattern: chart, materials list, and row-by-row instructions.
What sizes are available?
Free users can create Coaster (4"×4") and Washcloth (9"×9") patterns. Premium unlocks Wall Hanging, Baby Blanket, Throw Blanket, and Custom sizes.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel anytime from your account settings — you keep Premium until the end of your billing period. Your patterns remain accessible but revert to free-tier export restrictions.
